Little did I know that 11 days later at 24 weeks at my 2nd scan our dreams would be shattered with the news of T18..like alot of us Id never even heard of it and the shock of its reality. My journey took me again overseas as the only option in Ireland is to go full term. The trauma, lack of information and searching during that following week brought us to the UK where due to the severity of baby Dereks abnormalities we were offered to SGE. Seeing my little ones twisted spine outside of his little body was enough, the decision was made. With the help of a wonderful team of caring nurses I delivered my first born, a tiny little man on 12th December. I returned home the following day. I was broken....If only there was another option to have taken, if only, why me,...Sometime in Feb 2008 I eventually came across the T18 site, without it and the most caring & compassionate bunch of ladies I have met there I know I would not be where I am at now. No judments, just honest heartfelt kindness & support, I would like to thank each and every one of you for helping to heal me...
Next time your in the Emerald Isle (Ireland) you will be welcomed with open arms...

Mandy,
I love the picture and all the hope you had then. I truly hope and pray that you will feel that again with a new little one. You so deserve to be blessed, as does every woman on this site. We have all endured such pain and loss, I am certain the Lord has a special place for all of us and our lost angels.
Always,
Angela
